The Dining Room

Style, quality and finish of furnishings across the hotel is very good - good bed, bathroom, bar, dining room. Food is good, the choice, variety and quality up to expectations, breakfast a bit better than expected. Langholm is a good place to stay for the Borders if you travel from the South.

Lovely hotel where we were made to feel very welcome. Staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. Our double room was very comfortable. We had drinks and dinner at the hotel which was excellent. Would definitely recommend if visiting Langholm.

Have stayed at Eskdale before, great location for our onward journey, hotel is well kept, clean and well presented. All staff friendly wand welcoming especially Az. Enjoyed evening meal, good choice. Breakfast was good but would prefer bigger portions. Will stay again

Although our bedroom was small it was comfortable and very tastefully furnished. The bar & particularly the dining room were atmospheric and again extremely tastefully decorated. The dinner and breakfast were excellent in choice, high quality & presentation.
