Style, quality and finish of furnishings across the hotel is very good - good bed, bathroom, bar, dining room. Food is good, the choice, variety and quality up to expectations, breakfast a bit better than expected. Langholm is a good place to stay for the Borders if you travel from the South.

The staff were superb, very pleasant and helpful. The food was also excellent and the breakfast was perfect with a great choice of food. It is an old coaching in and unfortunately does not have a lift and as we are disabled, stairs were difficultbut the staff were very helpful with luggage etc.

Have stayed at Eskdale before, great location for our onward journey, hotel is well kept, clean and well presented. All staff friendly wand welcoming especially Az. Enjoyed evening meal, good choice. Breakfast was good but would prefer bigger portions. Will stay again

Very clean nicely furnished and comfortable, super shower, would’ve preferred cubicle but over bath was ok, good power. Evening and breakfast meals were both very good

Lovely hotel where we were made to feel very welcome. Staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. Our double room was very comfortable. We had drinks and dinner at the hotel which was excellent. Would definitely recommend if visiting Langholm.

Very welcoming, friendly staff with high quality - mainly traditional - food and a well-stocked bar . The hotel is in an excellent location to explore Langholm and the surrounding area but is also very popular with locals - a very good sign in itself. The atmosphere in the hotel is very relaxing and we were happy to spend some time just chilling with a coffee and newspapers.

Breakfast is a miracle. Everything possible except baked beans. I can gladly live without them. Rooms spacious, food very good and the bar well stocked.

Hotel is in a lovely location and the service, staff and food were all great. Parking is limited in the hotel's own car park, but there is some available in the village. Nice base to explore.

Absolute gem. Staff were warm and welcoming. Excellent service, food was delicious and fresh Our room was clean and every attention to detail. We'd booked in for one night stopover but wished we'd been staying longer !
